This means you will be required to undertake competency-based training that is bespoke to our team and the needs of the case load. This is continually updated and adapted depending on need. While caring for the child you will need to have the confidence and understanding to work without direct supervision from senior nurses, although understanding the steps to take when additional support is required. Our packages of care are cross‑county and as part of your role you are expected to travel and be adaptable to changes on the rota that can occur daily.

The team is managed by the Team lead, and care co‑ordinators who you will be responsible to. They manage the everyday needs of the care package, arranging shifts, problem‑solving, clinical supervision, and direct guidance.
