An expanding and highly successful high volume manufacturing company are currently recruiting a Shift Production Manager to join their factory operation in Greater Manchester.
The role forms part of the Production Management team and reports to the Site Operations Manager.
With overall responsibility of several production areas and a shift team of 2 direct reports and c18 reports the position has a focus on coaching, continuous improvement and applying change.
This is a shift-based opportunity on double days, weekly rotating Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm.
The key day to day activities for the role include:
1. Organise the resource in your department appropriately against the demands of the business.
2. Manage and develop employees through technical coaching, behavioural guidance, leadership and empowerment.
