We are seeking a passionate and skilled Lecturer - Chef for Professional Cookery to join a successful Hospitality and Catering team at our Hayes Campus. If you're an experienced chef with a flair for teaching and mentoring the next generation of culinary professionals, this is a fantastic opportunity to combine your industry expertise with education.
About the Role:
In this role, you will teach across a range of Hospitality programmes including:
* VRQs/NVQs in Professional Cookery (Levels 1-3)
* Apprenticeship Standards:
o Level 2 Production Chef
o Level 2 Commis Chef
o Level 3 Chef De Partie
You will also support learners with their development and progression through practical training in a fully operational, public-facing restaurant, located on campus.
What We're Looking For:
* A Level 3 qualification in Catering/Cookery
* Industry experience as a professional chef
* Experience teaching or training others in the subject area
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* A passion for working with young learners aged 16-18
* A Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to gain one (training fully funded by the College)
