Job Description:
Lambourne End Centre is looking to recruit a Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator. This opportunity is suitable for someone at the early stages of a career in charity fundraising.
The Centre is a 54-acre site in southwest Essex, offering residential accommodation, training facilities, adventure activities, a working farm, gardens, and environmental areas. These facilities support programmes aimed at improving health, wellbeing, and personal development, especially for those who struggle in mainstream environments.
The role involves a 35-hour workweek with flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends. An enhanced DBS check will be required due to the nature of the work.
Tasks
The post holder will raise funds mainly from trusts, companies, and through organising fundraising events. They will also promote the Centre to potential funders, user groups, and the public via the website and social media channels.
Requirements
Candidates should demonstrate creativity, initiative, and the ability to work well with colleagues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to enthuse others are essential.
