The Cathedral College is a Catholic, co-educational, secondary, boarding college in the Diocese of Rockhampton. It aims to deliver holistic Catholic education, combining academic excellence with spiritual, emotional, physical, cultural, and social development.
The college is located near St Joseph’s Cathedral and hosts 189 boarders from across Central Queensland, enriching the community. The student enrollment is 1330, all encouraged to respond to Jesus Christ’s message to ‘come live life in all its fullness’.
Girls' Boarding is on Agnes Street; Boys' Boarding is on Derby Street within the college grounds. Boarding students are an integral part of the college community.
About the role
Applications are invited from qualified individuals to join The Cathedral College as casual Kitchen/Laundry Hands. Rostered shifts include afternoons, nights, and weekends. Duties involve food preparation, portioning, delivery, dishwashing, and cleaning.
The successful candidate should understand and commit to Catholic education ethos, possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills, and be willing to work flexible shifts. An 'Open' Driver’s Licence (QLD) is desirable.
