About the Role
Our dynamic Property Team is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Facilities Manager to support the Council’s 5-year plan, including the Local Government Reorganisation. You will provide services and processes that support the core business of Reigate & Banstead’s property portfolio, which includes the Town Hall site, Maintenance Depots, Community Centres, Public Conveniences, and Leisure & Recreational Premises.
You will undertake a full range of building facilities duties, including managing day-to-day Responsive Repairs, Planned Maintenance Programmes, and providing technical advice/support to other council staff, including assistance with office space planning and relocations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a small team delivering facilities management and postal & reprographic services.
2. Manage contractors and consultants in contract delivery.
3. Prepare monthly progress and financial reports on contracts and projects.
4. Ensure all Health & Safety standards and statutory compliance requirements are met.
About You
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* IWFM Level 4 or above qualification, or significant relevant experience.
* Experience in building surveying and contract administration.
* Knowledge of construction principles, practices, contracts, and administration.
* Proven knowledge of premises health & safety compliance and related legislation, including CDM Regulations.
* Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
* A clean and valid driving licence is essential.
