About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to join our premium food manufacturing team. Working with high-end customers, this role requires a solution-driven mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to support new product development (NPD) projects. You will be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision, professionalism, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with premium customers, acting as their trusted partner.
* NPD Support: Collaborate with the NPD team to deliver innovative, tailored solutions that meet client expectations.
* Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed account plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
* Communication: Provide clear, timely updates to clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
* Data & Reporting: Use advanced Excel skills to analyse sales data, track performance, and prepare reports for management and customers.
* Problem-Solving: Anticipate client needs, identify challenges, and propose effective solutions.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of products.
Candidate Profile
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage confidently with premium clients.
* Self-Motivation: Highly driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
* Organisation & Planning: Strong planning skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, reporting).
* Industry Experience: Previous experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a customer-facing role preferred.
* Solution-Driven: Creative and resourceful, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions for high-end customers.
