Compensation and Location
* Location: East Midlands / East Anglia (commutable locations: Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Lincoln, Nottingham, Leicester)
* Salary: GBP 50,000 to GBP 60,000
* OTE: GBP 5,000 (expected, uncapped and paid quarterly)
Role and Responsibilities
* As our Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving business growth to agreed targets, working with existing representatives while also developing new business opportunities.
* Receive comprehensive product training across a diverse range (AOV circa GBP 20,000) to confidently demonstrate, sell and support our industrial temperature monitoring solutions.
* Visit customers, support representatives and handle direct sales.
* Deliver technical product demonstrations and run trials at customer sites.
* Establish, manage and grow key account relationships.
* Provide installation support, on-site training, and ongoing technical assistance.
* Identify customer requirements and offer the best solutions through a consultative sales approach.
* Generate leads and develop new routes to market to complement the existing structure and increase brand awareness.
Candidate Profile
* We are looking for a driven and progressive Sales Engineer, ideally with experience in the automotive, aerospace or food sectors, with a proven track record of success and openness to an international role.
* Engineering background (degree, apprenticeship or hands-on technical experience).
* B2B technical sales experience (capital equipment, components, services, etc.).
* Experience selling into Automotive, Aerospace and/or Food markets desirable.
* Knowledge of temperature monitoring solutions is advantageous.
* Enjoys solving customer problems and building long-term relationships.
* Currently involved in international sales or seeking to develop in that direction.
