This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position.
Devereux's Community Adult Autism Partnership Program (CAAPP) provides personal growth opportunities for adults, ages 21 and over, with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, emotional and/or behavioral differences, and brain injuries.
The goal of CAAPP is to provide instruction and support across work, community, and home environments that will facilitate participants in becoming more independent, productive, and socially connected members of their local community. This model focuses on partnering with community supports to maximize each consumer’s potential.
CAAPP is seeking Community Support Professionals (CSPs) who have at least six (6) months of experience working with adults/children with autism. Our CSPs serve participants residing in Montgomery County, Chester County, and Delaware counties.
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00
Bonuses: $250/quarter; Max $1000/year (minimum of 10 hours billed per week)
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible, 4-hour shifts. Minimum 10 hrs - Maximum 40 hours billable
As a CSP for CAAPP, you will:
* Provide community-based support and skill development to young adults diagnosed with autism transitioning out of educational programs
* Support participants in communication, social skills, self-care, work readiness, vocational training, and community-based employment
* Use evidence-based instructional strategies to help participants achieve goals across home, community, and work settings
* Complete progress notes and data collection for each participant
* Work with the Integration Specialist and Behavior Support Specialist, if applicable, to identify areas of strength and need

Minimum Requirements
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
* High School Diploma with at least 6 months of experience working directly with individuals with any developmental disability, including autism
