Title: Senior Manager Global Franchise Communications Company: Ipsen Biopharm Ltd : In order to enhance our growth opportunities within CEAS team, this is a 1-year assignment position Summary / purpose of the position The main mission of this role is to develop and implement meaningful Franchise and Brand communication strategy and plans above and in-country that help drive the success of the company's portfolio, build reputation and trust. This role reports into the Head of Global Franchises Communications, Rare Diseases and provides significant exposure to all levels of the organisation - including Executive Leadership Team and affiliates. The Senior Manager Global Franchises Communications will serve as a communication business partner for the rare disease therapeutic area, collaborating with global functions and local teams, including commercial, medical, market access, public affairs, patient advocacy. Main responsibilities / job expectations Managing the ideation and development of global communication plans supporting brand and therapeutic area strategic imperatives and critical success factors, for implementation above and in-country, with clear evaluation measures / KPI Manage global franchise communications strategies and activities including for example support for medical congresses, regulatory milestones, launch preparedness, issues management Represent Global Communication Team on relevant governance meetings, which may include Global Brand Teams and sub-committees of the Asset and Global Brand Teams; providing strategic guidance and contributing to recommendations to key internal stakeholders Facilitate alignment and coordination within Communication, External Affairs and Sustainability (CEAS) between the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, corporate communications team, internal communications team and other partners as necessary to achieve defined outcomes Contribute to CEAS cross-functional campaigns and approaches; coordinate workflow with the global communications team Support Head of Global Franchises Communication and Global Communication Leadership Team in relevant communications and projects Ensure co-creation, alignment and implementation of strategic activities between affiliates and global communications teams Manage relationships with external agencies, ensuring effective development and delivery of plans and activities aligned with agreed KPIs, managed within timelines and budgets Knowledge, abilities & experience Experience in Healthcare Communication (6 years), ideally with both in-house and agency exposure Proven track record working in therapy area and brand communications Relevant disease area experience in rare disease an advantage Working knowledge of media relations, social media and patient organisation partnerships Relevant degree (Science, Healthcare or Communications related) Fluent English-language speaker and writer Key Technical Competencies Required Exceptional communicator (strong verbal, presentation, writing and negotiation skills), with the ability to develop a storytelling agenda Excellent understanding of the bio/pharmaceutical industry and applicable rules (including legal, regulatory, ethics & compliance frameworks) Ability to comprehend and translate scientific content for a lay audience Results oriented, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
