Role Description
You will support the Local Partner Services team in Bristol. Your responsibilities include informing and consulting accommodation partners regarding their business performance, market opportunities, and industry trends. You will empower partners to utilize Booking.com’s system, tools, and products to optimize their performance and enhance customer experience. As an Account Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of Accommodation Partners across England & Wales, requiring regular business travel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proactively communicate with regional partners via phone and internal messaging to support business development; participate in market visits.
2. Manage a portfolio of partners, serving as the primary contact, answering queries, and analyzing local market trends.
3. Maintain strong relationships with partners through frequent performance calls and contacts to ensure optimal availability and competitive pricing.
4. Be knowledgeable about Booking.com’s products to effectively explain their benefits to partners.
5. Identify opportunities for partners to improve business using internal segmentation and prioritize accordingly.
6. Identify potential new partners and pass leads for follow-up.
7. Handle customer service issues related to your portfolio efficiently, balancing business, partner, and customer needs.
8. Support organization of partner events like workshops and webinars, and attend relevant events.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in account management, sales, or business development.
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
* Experience or interest in e-commerce or travel industry.
* Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
* Team player, self-motivated, adaptable, open to change.
* Holder of a driver’s license.
* Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
