The Home Bradley Court is 12 bedded nursing home for Learning Disability and challenging behaviour. Bradley Court was opened in August 2020 and was commissioned with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. We take great pride in our nursing home, providing high quality care and person-centred care. Bradley Court aims to provide a home away from home feeling for our residents. We offer our staff a range of training programmes, including positive behaviour support, safety intervention and other training opportunities to assist our staff to progress in their careers. The Role Care Assistants at Healthcare Ireland play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our Homes, providing essential support and assistance to Residents to ensure their wellbeing and comfort. Care Assistants are part of our frontline team, responsible for delivering personalised care and assistance with activities of daily living. This role involves driving duties, taking residents to and from appointments, activities etc. Our Care Assistants also provide emotional support and companionship to Residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion, and advocacy for Residents rights and preferences. Collaborating with Nurses, Wellbeing team, families and external healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and person-centred care, Care Assistants are essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Alongside caring for residents you will also take them out to activities, appointments using the bus provided.
