What will the Head of Financial Reporting role involve?
1. Lead and develop a team of 4 direct and c.20 indirect reports across Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Financial Accounting
2. Own all financial and statutory reporting across several UK legal entities, ensuring full compliance and timely delivery
3. Manage audits, balance sheet integrity, and working capital reporting with strong focus on accuracy and control
4. Drive process and systems improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and control environment
5. Partner closely with the Finance Director, acting as the key technical advisor and championing continuous improvement
Suitable Candidate for the Head of Financial Reporting vacancy:
6. ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally trained in practice with strong technical grounding
7. Experience managing or mentoring a team within a financial reporting or audit environment
8. Confident communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive improvement
9. Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving business where you can make tangible impact
10. Strong understanding of accounting standards, statutory compliance, and audit processes
