About the role
Reckitt is seeking an astute Buyer – NPS to strategically navigate the procurement landscape, ensuring our teams have the resources needed to excel. You will optimize procurement activities across key categories, ensuring efficient, cost-effective supply chains that contribute to Reckitt's success. Your responsibilities
1. Commercial IT&D due diligence:
o Understand application development solutions, key cost drivers, and control measures within agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
o Conduct market research and influence others to ensure an auditable, logical approach to sourcing IT&D solutions.
o Be familiar with risks related to IT&D sourcing and identify mitigation strategies using commercial levers during procurement.
2. Technology procurement strategy:
o Apply the global IT&D procurement strategy aligned with corporate and business priorities, translating due diligence into negotiation strategies.
o Gather necessary details to address critical gaps and ensure planned outcomes with stakeholder approval.
o Secure future demand and flexibility through new contracting models aligned with stakeholder requirements.
o Prioritize delivery based on risk assessments and timelines.
o Evaluate sourcing and pricing options for licenses, cloud, on-premise, and hybrid solutions.
o Build informal networks for effective communication and utilize procurement tools.
3. Supplier relationship management:
o Collaborate with the Third-Party contract management team to ensure renewal processes and asset tracking are managed effectively.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
* Implementation of commercial strategies that reduce costs while managing risks and aligning with business objectives.
Qualifications and experience
* Bachelor’s degree in business, law, engineering, or IT&D; certification from ISM or CIPS preferred.
* Minimum two years in procurement, preferably in technology procurement or as a category manager.
* Experience in IT&D and technology contracts is beneficial.
* Strong understanding of procurement processes and stakeholder guidance.
