Offer description

Do you love getting stuck into a creative project? đŸ–Œïž Fancy spending your days bringing joy, expression and connection to others through the arts? Then we’d love to hear from you.

We’re on the lookout for a Creative Arts Coordinator to join us this September — the perfect time to start something new and truly meaningful. You’ll be leading uplifting, therapeutic workshops for people living with dementia, helping them connect, express themselves, and find joy in creativity.

This isn’t about artistic perfection. It’s about creating moments that matter. 💛

🌟 What you’ll be doing:

1. Leading inspiring arts and crafts sessions tailored to each person’s interests.
2. Organising meaningful outings and offering both group and one-to-one activities.
3. Supporting carers and welcoming drop-in visitors with kindness and care.
4. Coordinating volunteers and helping keep everything running smoothly.
5. Living out our Christian ethos by opening meetings with prayer and sharing worship.

🎹 What you’ll bring:

6. A creative background — you might have an arts-based qualification, or be working towards one.
7. An understanding of how dementia can affect people — and how art can offer support and encouragement.
8. Bags of enthusiasm, patience, and the confidence to bring your own ideas to life.
9. A collaborative spirit and a willingness to get stuck in when it’s needed.
10. Basic IT skills and the ability to travel between different group locations.

đŸ“© Apply today and use your creativity to brighten someone’s day — every day. ☕🎹
