HGV Technician Needed in Warwickshire
1. Location: Nuneaton
2. Salary: Up to £18 per hour + shift allowance
3. Hours: Various shifts available
Join an award-winning, multi-franchise dealer group as an HGV Technician. This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safety and performance of commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities in this HGV Technician role:
4. Perform major and minor repairs on vans and HGVs.
5. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
6. Diagnose and plan repairs using advanced diagnostic tools.
7. Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory.
8. Use Keyloop/Kerridge systems for accurate record-keeping.
9. Complete customer documentation, ensuring high service standards.
10. Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting as needed.
The successful HGV Technician will have
11. NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.
12. Experience in diagnostic and service repairs (experience with passenger cars also considered).
13. Knowledge of DVSA standards and ability to identify faulty components.
14. Full UK driving license for relevant vehicle classes.
15. Key skills: resilience, motivation, attention to detail, and time management.
