Head of Marketplaces
Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote)
An established and fast-growing consumer brand with annual marketplace revenues of £25 million, the vast majority from Amazon, is seeking a Head of Marketplaces to lead and evolve our strategy.
This is a senior role with full P&L responsibility for the Amazon channel and oversight of smaller marketplace initiatives. You will manage a small in-house team and coordinate with specialist agencies who support execution, with your primary focus on setting and delivering the strategy that drives Amazon growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
* Own and deliver the P&L for Amazon and other marketplaces, with Amazon as the main priority
* Define and execute the Amazon strategy across multiple geographies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
* Lead and develop a small in-house team, supported by agencies for execution in advertising, content, and optimisation
* Oversee pricing, promotions, and merchandising to maximise sales and profitability
* Analyse performance data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks
* Build and manage relationships with Amazon vendor/marketplace teams to unlock commercial opportunities
