Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional executive support to partners and fee-earners, ensuring outstanding client service.
* Manage complex diaries, travel, meetings, and client events.
* Prepare meeting papers, agendas, and first-draft correspondence for review.
* Liaise confidently with clients, handling non‑legal queries and supporting billing and reporting processes.
* Coordinate client events, seminars and presentations in collaboration with Business Development.
* Support the preparation of bids, tenders and marketing materials.
* Oversee financial administration including billing, expenses, and matter management.
* Manage document production, formatting, proofreading, and document comparisons.
* Create and maintain Excel datasets, PowerPoint presentations and Word documents to firm standards.
* Coach and support junior team members, ensuring high service standards are maintained.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 18 months’ experience in a secretarial/administrative role.
* Proven ability to provide proactive, high‑quality support to busy teams.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident, professional manner.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and use initiative.
* Flexible, adaptable and team‑oriented with a commitment to excellence.
