Job description: As a Electrical Update Engineer your main responsibilities are: You will provide a technical lead for scripting, testing and delivering updates packs to the wider business using the automated update tool, Flamingo. Attending the EE-Change Control Board (CCB), liaising with project teams to understand specifics, generating a bespoke test script and confirming suitability to associated baselines and System 42. Liaising with the CP-Tool Manager and highlighting any discrepancies which are found when using D2C2. Generate Beta, and Final update packs for requested project vehicle Identify and create the test requirement for each Flamingo Work Package in-line with the changes (severity). To prove out the Flamingo updates on the allocated fleet vehicles and identifying integration dependencies and checking compatibility.
