Job Description:
Potentia Search is partnered with an award-winning membrane technology company involved in water treatment, wastewater reuse, and potable water production. They seek to hire a talented Regional Sales Manager to expand their presence in the UK & Ireland.
The Regional Sales Manager contributes to achieving sales targets set by the Sales Director. The role involves customer contact with new and existing clients in the Water Business, selling membrane modules to OEMs, municipal, and industrial customers. Generating new leads and maintaining a strong network with water industry stakeholders is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the region.
* Prepare and submit proposals and quotations.
* Coordinate sales activities and communicate customer requirements across departments.
* Attend trade fairs and assist with samples and promotional materials.
* Maximize sales and gross margin of standard products.
* Negotiate and close sales contracts.
* Generate sales opportunities and leads.
* Support engineers during project delivery and implementation.
* Provide market feedback on industry developments, competitors, and trends.
* Follow up systematically on offers and record in CRM system (Salesforce).
Candidate Profile:
* BSc. or MSc. in a technical or technical/commercial field.
* Experience in a sales-driven role.
* Experience in water business, especially membrane technology, is desirable.
* Experience with CRM systems for managing sales.
* Strong time management skills.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
* Willingness to travel for customer contact and site visits.
