Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a thriving secondary school? Veritas Education is working with a forward-thinking and supportive school in the Wakefield area, seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their dynamic team from September 2025.
* The Role:
* Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Plan, prepare and assess lessons that inspire students and promote practical skills
* Support pupils' academic and personal development within a safe and stimulating environment
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Technology department to enhance curriculum delivery
* Contribute to extracurricular opportunities and school initiatives where possible
* About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Specialism or strong experience in Food Technology
* Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to raising standards
* A creative and proactive approach to teaching
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
