CLASS 2 DRIVER MONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES BETWEEN 01.30 - 04.30 £15.25 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Burton Upon Trent. Twelve months previous Class 2 Driving experience required for this role There is a minimum of eight hours worked per day. Candidates must be prepared to do nights out every so often (this can be discussed over the phone). A night out allowance is paid to the driver on return to the depot. Must pass a driving assessment prior to start. Benefits: No weekend work Can lead to a permanent position Opportunity to work bank holidays – paid at flat rate Canteen Free parking Weekly Pay Day to Day Duties As a Class 2 Driver with our client, you will: Complete two to five drops per day Deliver roller cages and totes Operate a tail lift Assist with handballing Drive Category C vehicles safely and efficiently Ensure all loads are safe and secure Complete any necessary paperwork Essential Skills As a Class 2 Driver for our client, you would need: To be comfortable completing one night out a week To be comfortable with early starts To have at least 12 months previous Class 2 driving experience To hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence To hold a valid CPC and Digi Card To have no more than six points on Driving Licence for minor infringements No major endorsement codes Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
