About the Role
This is a career graded role, with opportunity to progress from Planning Officer to Senior Planning Officer. Applicants interested in all levels of the role are encouraged to apply.
As a Planner, you will:
* Assess and manage planning applications from pre-application to post-decision matters.
* Provide professional advice to applicants, agents, and stakeholders.
* Contribute to Local Plan development and policy work.
* Support enforcement investigations and represent the Council at appeals.
* Engage in continuous learning and development, with mentoring opportunities.
