Role: Project Quality & Environmental Deliverables Coordinator
Location: Bolton
Salary: £40-50k (Depending on Experience)
5 days per week Mon – Fri, 37 hours in the offices (Typically 8-5 Mon – Thurs and 8 – 12 noon Friday)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Project Quality & Environmental Deliverables Coordinator to support the successful delivery of major HS2 projects.
This is a key role ensuring all project quality documentation, records, and deliverables are produced, controlled, and submitted in line with strict client requirements and timelines. You will play a central part in coordinating quality documentation and supporting environmental reporting, helping to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the project quality deliverables plan/register, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and on time
* Lead the development and control of MITPs / ITPs, including inspection stages, acceptance criteria, and hold/witness points
* Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, suppliers, and production teams to ensure full compliance with client requirements
* Compile and manage inspection records, material certifications, traceability documentation, and test reports
* Produce and coordinate O&M manuals and final handover documentation
* Prepare and issue final documentation packs (QA dossiers, MDR/Data Books) ensuring correct formatting, indexing, and revision control
* Manage document control processes, including transmittals, revisions, approvals, and comment resolution
* Support the closure of NCRs, defects, and punch lists through documentation and evidence coordination
* Participate in internal and client meetings, driving actions and ensuring completion
* Support audits (internal, client, third-party) by demonstrating compliance and tracking actions
Environmental Responsibilities
* Collect and report environmental data including embodied carbon / EPD information
* Ensure environmental requirements are integrated into project deliverables
* Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and minimise environmental impact
About You
Essential
* Proven experience managing quality documentation and deliverables in engineering or manufacturing projects
* Strong experience developing and maintaining MITPs / ITPs
* Experience producing O&M manuals and handover documentation
* Knowledge of material certification, traceability, and QA documentation
* Strong document control skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
* Excellent communication skills, confident working with clients and stakeholders
* Proficient in MS Office and document management systems
* Awareness of environmental reporting and compliance requirements
Desirable
* Experience working on HS2 or major UK infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards
* Internal audit experience
* Experience with client document portals and formal submission processes
* Full UK driving licence
