Details about the role
* Location: S63, within Education Centre
* Start Date: ASAP, if youre cleared for work, or May 2026
* End Date: Ongoing
* Hours: 10 hours per week, taking place in school hours 9am - 4pm Mon - Fri.
* Pay: £20 - £30 per hour.
* Subject: English, Maths and Science tuition for a Year 8 student working below ARE. Expected delivery of knowledge: KS2 - KS3. SEN experience desired.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions for a Year 8 student.
* Deliver curriculum aligned with KS2 – KS3 standards.
* Use engaging, personalised teaching methods to support student learning.
* Collaborate with the team and use provided resources to plan and review sessions.
Qualifications
* Caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable children.
* Experience in teaching or tutoring (preferred).
* SEN or special education experience is desirable.
* Strong enthusiasm and creativity in lesson planning.
