We are seeking two highly motivated Band 7 Specialist Cardiac Physiologists (echo) to join our busy and friendly team across Maidstone Hospital, Tunbridge Wells Hospital and the Community diagnostic centre at Maidstone.
Responsibilities
* Work split shifts between 8 am and 8 pm, including weekends, across all three sites.
* Deliver non‑invasive cardiology services, including echocardiography, stress echo, valve clinic and TOE.
* Assist in physiologist‑led exercise stress testing, tilt testing, ambulatory monitoring, device follow‑up and complex invasive procedures such as angiography, PCI, PPM, ICD/CRT implantation and EP.
* Train and educate physiologists and other staff in echo/non‑invasive techniques.
* Assist in the Rapid Access Heart Failure Clinic and support physiologist‑led services such as stress echo, bubble, contrast echo and TOE.
* Participate in regular training, mentorship, and continuous professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or Healthcare Science (Cardiac Science) or MSc Healthcare Science (Cardiac) or equivalent.
* BSE accreditation with a preference for registration with HCPC or AHCS.
* Experience in non‑invasive cardiology and echocardiography is desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple sites and in split shift patterns.
