Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and support a team of nursery practitioners within your allocated room.
* Deliver consistently high standards of care and early education for children aged 0–5 years.
* Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers and the nursery management team.
* Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment at all times.
* Observe, monitor and assess children’s development, ensuring accurate record keeping.
Essential Requirements
* A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
* Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
* Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
* A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable but not essential).
* A warm, caring and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
