Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Congleton who are looking for a part-time HLTA to start in September within their KS2 department. This is a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is looking to gain further experience in a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school.
About the role:
* Start- date: 8th September
* Part-time with potential opportunity for a full-time contract
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work within the schools KS2 department with classes Years 4-6. You will work closely with the class teachers to identify any learning gaps and create and implement individualised learning support plans. This may include 1-1 or group intervention with core subjects. Additionally, you may also cover the class for short periods of time in the absence of the class teacher (PPA time).

* Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience within a primary school
* Good understanding of current teaching techniques and behavioural management
* Patient and calm approach when faced with challenging behaviours
* A genuine passion for improving the development of young learners
* Safeguarding training to be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel
