We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Academy Governing Board as Chair of Governors at Brixham College. This is a pivotal leadership position that offers the opportunity to make a profound difference to childrenâs lives while shaping the strategic direction of your local school.
As Chair, you will guide the board in its work, support and challenge the schoolâs leadership, and ensure that governance is purposeful, efficient, and grounded in our vision to transform the life chances of every young person.
â What Weâre Looking For
We are ideally seeking someone who brings one or more of the following:
* Governance experience (either as a governor or in a comparable strategic role)
* Experience within the education sector, or
* Strong strategic leadership skills from any professional background

A full handover, mentoring, and ongoing support will be provided.
