Teaching Assistant – SEN Support Location: Sale Start Date: January 2026 Hours: Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded primary school in Sale to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This full-time role begins in January 2026 and involves providing both one-to-one and small group support for children with a variety of SEN needs. Key Responsibilities Provide dedicated support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups Assist class teachers in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities Deliver one-to-one interventions to help pupils achieve their learning goals Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment Support the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet pupil needs What We’re Looking For GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing Level 2 Safeguarding certificate (or willingness to complete training provided) Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
