We are now seeking a Technical Projects Manager to join our team.
Vanguard Healthcare Solutions are a British, privately owned, international clinical services and infrastructure provider supporting healthcare clients across the UK and worldwide.
Our purpose-designed and built modular and mobile facilities provide our clients with new or replacement Operating Theatres, Wards, Endoscopy Suites and Decontamination and diagnostic units. Responsibilities
* Undertake site surveys.
* Producing site survey reports and site layout drawings, to support the client understanding of the solution presented by Vanguard.
* Working with the sales team to provide technical support, answering client questions, and providing technical information.
* Working with the project team to update technical drawings and information based on client requests.
* Attending client meetings to discuss operational and technical elements relating to a project.
* Plan, coordinate and manage the delivery and installation of Vanguard mobile facilities to client sites.
* Assist in the planning and coordination of Vanguard modular facilities where required by the project team.
* Preparing risk assessments and method statements for the operations team as required.
* Ensure health and safety is managed correctly during the delivery and installation process.
* To occasionally undertake the role of escort driver, to assist in the safe delivery of Vanguard mobile units to the client site.
Requirements
* Experience in construction, logistics, engineering, or any technical and practical based industry.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritising effectively.
* Good planning and coordination skills.
* Able to communicate information effectively, adapting the content to suit the target audience.
* Experience engaging and working with external clients.
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
* Driving license and willingness to travel.
* General IT skills, including familiarity with programs such as MS Outlook, MS Team, MS Word, and MS Excel.
* Technical background or any technical qualifications.
* Experience in project management.
* Experience using AutoCAD (training can be provided).
* Experience in mobile or modular facilities.
* An understanding of health and safety management and knowledge of working under CDM regulations.
* An understanding of road transport logistics, specifically abnormal loads, and the maneuverability of large vehicles.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* IOSH qualification. Experience with Six Sigma/LEAN methodology.
* Experience in ISO Frameworks.
