We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced, energetic Business Development Manager to join our Sales team in Wetherby, Leeds.
As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be on meeting customers' needs and addressing their requests promptly to ensure a positive customer experience. Strong communication and negotiation abilities are essential, along with a customer-centric approach.

Training at Work Group Limited helps business owners and managers protect their employees by having qualified first aiders and industry-specific health and safety personnel fully trained within their business. We have a wide list of clients ranging from global companies with thousands of employees to sole traders.
We are a close-knit and friendly team based in modern offices in the centre of Wetherby. We are one of the UK's leading providers of First Aid, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, and Fire Marshal trainers, and as such, we are members of several awarding bodies.
We are dedicated to doing the best for all of our customers, and we aim to inspire them to create a safe and compliant workplace by using the best quality trainers available. Each one of our Business Development Managers is responsible for helping to make this happen.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact
* Identify new business opportunities and upsell products or services to new and existing clients
* Respond effectively to targets set and agreed with Sales Office Manager
* Ensure day-to-day communication with customers via telephone, email, etc., is of a very high and professional standard
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and address client needs effectively
* Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and sales presentations to potential clients
* Update customer information on the in-house CRM System
Requirements:
* At least one years' experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in a sales environment
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
* Previous experience in networking with potential new clients, using tools such as LinkedIn
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Knowledge of Health and Safety and understanding of client needs in the UK market, preferred not needed, as training in included
