Job Title : Property Manager Location : Catterick Salary : £26,000 - £29,000 per annum Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 17:00pm Our client is a private organisation managing a substantial residential property portfolio across North Yorkshire. As Property Manager, you will take ownership of the day to day management of a residential portfolio in and around Catterick. This is a hands on and varied role covering the full lettings and property management lifecycle, offering real autonomy and responsibility. Key Responsibilities of Property Manager: Act as main tenant contact, handling enquiries and urgent repairs Manage full lettings process: marketing, viewings, applications, references, agreements Liaise with contractors, landlords and tenants on repairs, maintenance and general property matters Onboard new clients and contractors Oversee day to day property management: rent collection, compliance, repairs, rent reviews Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on actions Coordinate contractors for maintenance and repairs Maintain accurate records on property management systems Process invoices and financial documentation Provide property management advice as needed Coordinate tenant move-ins, utilities and tenancy administration Arrange inventories, deposit returns and end of tenancy dilapidations Prepare and serve tenancy notices in line with legislation Manage rental arrears professionally and empathetically Record time accurately for invoicing Support the wider Estate Management team as required Skills Required: Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle MARLA qualification (or equivalent) preferred but not essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident using software and Microsoft Office In return, the successful Property Manager will receive a competitive salary of £26,000 - £29,000 depending on experience, a performance related bonus scheme and an employer pension contribution.
