About the Role
We're looking for a talented freelance Content Marketing Manager to support our Creative team on a contract basis. This is a fully remote, flexible role with a focus on delivering high-quality content and engagement strategies across our B2B and B2C channels. You’ll work closely with our internal teams as an external specialist, bringing your own methods, tools, and experience to help deliver against key campaign objectives.

The business was created in 2013 with a simple goal in mind, to help upskill and train multiple people through one easy to use online platform. academy+ now owns over 800 proprietary courses covering general business skills, specific vocational skills, and a variety of lifestyle skills.
Key Deliverables
Social Media Strategy & Content Creation
* Plan, create, and schedule monthly organic content calendars for B2B and B2C platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
* Analyse performance and make strategic optimisations
* Align content with wider campaign objectives through collaboration with internal stakeholders
Community Engagement & Management
* Manage a B2C Facebook community and a private B2B LinkedIn group, including:
* Content creation and scheduling
* Engagement and moderation (at your discretion based on community needs)
* Membership management
* Light industry research to spark relevant discussions
Email Marketing Support
* Draft and schedule B2B email communications in HubSpot
* Collaborate with the internal team to align messaging and timing for B2C campaigns
Other Deliverables
* Ad hoc proofreading and copy editing
* Contribution to wider content initiatives as agreed
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in B2B and B2C content marketing, including strategy, copy, visuals, and analytics
* Experience with community management and engagement in professional and consumer spaces
* Strong copywriting and editing skills; an eye for detail and tone
* Confident using tools like Canva and HubSpot
* A self-driven, independent contractor with strong communication skills
* Ability to manage your own time, tools, and output
