We are seeking a Head of Department for Drama at Willingdon Community School.
Full time, full year, permanent.

* Salary: MPS‑UPS £32,916 – £51,048 per annum plus TLR2a.
* Start date: September 2026.
Responsibilities
* Innovate, design and develop the Drama curriculum.
* Lead the KS3 and KS4 drama curriculum, ensuring outstanding GCSE outcomes.
* Develop and deliver drama productions and curriculum activities.
* Collaborate with other departments, particularly Music and Dance.
* Participate in department CPD and staff wellbeing initiatives.
Qualifications & requirements
* Relevant teaching experience and a passion for drama.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a department.
* Applicants must provide satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
* The post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018; applicants must not be disqualified under these regulations.
