This global financial services firm based in Norwich is looking to recruit an Associate to join their expanding Data and Service Management division. The role is central to business operations and requires candidates who are comfortable in a client-facing role, proactive, and willing to engage with business and external clients.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Coordinate the monthly and quarterly service and governance packs in line with contractual client requirements.
2. Support the Associate Director with data governance, risk, and control projects, and confidently present findings.
3. Work with internal and external stakeholders regularly, adopting a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification.
4. Maintain a personal growth mindset, take initiative, and pursue personal development opportunities.
5. Be an enthusiastic team player with open and confident communication skills, adaptable to change.
6. Act as the first point of contact for new risk event registrations, monitor each event through the Risk Management process, and collate risk data and analysis for client packs.
7. Oversee all new issues, coordinate with Heads of Service to ensure they are reported in client packs, and manage them through to resolution.
8. Assist in overseeing control process meetings, collate control evidence, and review assessments under the control framework.
9. Support the setup and use of the new Risk Management tool.
10. Assist with client due diligence requirements and coordinate business continuity tasks.
11. Provide administrative support, including maintaining internal process maps and managing team inbox and onboarding requirements.
To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive approach to building relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience working in a data management environment (preferable).
* Strong presentation skills, capable of presenting data and analytics to senior stakeholders.
* Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet stakeholder deadlines.
* Enthusiasm, drive, and the ability to work autonomously in a deadline-driven environment.
* A team player who works well both independently and in teams.
