What you will do: Respond to initial referrals and enquiries, conducting triage and risk assessments to determine the level of intervention required. Undertake statutory assessments, including Child and Family Assessments, in accordance with the Children Act 1989 and local safeguarding procedures. Manage a caseload of children and families subject to Child in Need (Section 17) and Child Protection (Section 47) processes. Participate in strategy discussions, child protection conferences, and core group meetings, ensuring robust multi-agency collaboration. Person Specification: Qualifications: Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) with evidence of continued professional development. Registration & Compliance: Registered with Social Work England; knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks including the Children Act 1989 and 2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
