Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal
Beaumont Veterinary Centre, Exeter, Devon
Salary: Up to £71,000 DOE, £2,000 Welcome Bonus, £2,000 Relocation Allowance.
We are seeking a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon to join our team. The practice offers a supportive environment, clinical freedom, and a varied caseload of cats, dogs, and small animals. Surgical work is largely routine with referral options available.
How You’ll Make a Difference
You’ll collaborate with the practice team to deliver high standard of patient and client care. You will manage your own caseload, provide surgical care, and contribute to the positive clinical culture.
Shift Pattern
* 4 × 10‑hour shifts (part‑time applications welcome)
* Saturday mornings 8 am–1 pm (1:3 on call)
* No on‑call or OOH responsibilities
Qualifications
* Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
* Experience in clinical practice, confident with routine medical and surgical cases
* Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
* Proactive learning approach, open to feedback, with a willingness to develop clinical interests
* Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
