Based in Bridgend, South Wales, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and supportive environment with clear career progression and proactive employee engagement.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with the Pre-Construction team to lead the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects within the Wales Region.</li><li>Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across Civil, Structural, MEPICA, Health and Safety, Sustainability, Environmental, and Planning teams to develop integrated and innovative solutions.</li><li>Drive the technical delivery of infrastructure projects, leading multidisciplinary technical teams to create value-driven solutions that address client challenges across the entire design lifecycle.</li><li>Engage with internal and external stakeholders to secure buy-in for proposed solutions, fostering collaboration between internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners to deliver buildable and high-quality technical outcomes.</li></ul><h3>Essential</h3><ul><li>Experience of all aspects civil engineering projects from either design or contracting background</li><li>A degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject (e.g. civil, electrical, mechanical) and/or equivalent experience.</li><li>Clear understanding of the commercial requirements of delivering complex multidisciplinary design and build projects and an appreciation of delivery risk.</li><li>A full UK Driving Licence</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Experience of undertaking feasibility studies, options appraisal and concept design, and/or outline and detailed design for clients and design and build contractors.</li><li>Broad knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Process).</li><li>Chartered or Incorporated with a relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM or working towards it.</li><li>Temporary works experience</li></ul><p>Knights Brown actively promotes inclusiveness across the workplace, creating an environment where each individual has the equal opportunity to achieve his or her full potential and where employees feel respected.
