We are currently recruiting for a Digital Services and Website Development Manager to join our team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
The Digital Services and Website Development Manager will lead the delivery and performance of the Councils digital services, with a focus on transformation, automation, integration, and user-centred design.
In this role, you will:
* Lead the design and delivery of high-quality, user-centred digital solutions, ensuring they are accessible, efficient, and aligned with organisational goals.
* Manage and evolve the GOSS digital platform, ensuring seamless integration of self-serve solutions with line-of-business systems.
* Collaborate across Council services to co-design and implement new, digitally enabled models of service delivery.
* Develop customer experience (CX) journeys to inform service design.
* Develop and maintain digital information architectures (IA), including CMS structures, taxonomies, and workflows to support effective content and service delivery
* Champion digital skills development and contribute to organisational training programmes.
* Develop manage and maintain the Councils websites.
We are looking for someone with:
* Substantial experience in digital transformation, service design, and delivery of digital solutions, systems, platforms and websites.
* Strong leadership and programme management skills, with a track record of delivering complex digital initiatives.
* A deep understanding of WCAG standards, CMS architecture, and customer-focused design.
* The ability to inspire cultural change and deliver measurable service improvements.
