The Role
We’re looking for someone motivated, curious, and keen to build on their existing CAD skills to become a specialist P&C CAD Technician. This is your chance to transfer your current CAD experience into a new area of engineering — working with our dedicated team on:
1. Single line diagrams
2. Panel general arrangement drawings
3. Circuit and wiring diagrams
4. Cable and connection drawings
You’ll learn how to interpret engineering sketches, develop P&C schematics, and play a vital role in the design of substations and other high-voltage infrastructure.

Essential Skills
10. Sound knowledge of AutoCAD
11. Understanding of technical drawings
12. Strong attention to detail
Desirable Skills
13. Understanding of electrical schematic drawings
14. Experience in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
Who this would suit
This role would suit existing CAD/Revit Technicians from other disciplines, or engineers up to intermediate grade who want to move into a highly specialised and fast-growing area of power engineering.
