About the Role
Kidderminster College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join a busy, passionate SEND department that actively supports students with additional learning needs and/or disabilities. As a SEND Advisor, you will liaise with learners with SEND and SEMH needs, including learners with an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The role involves chairing EHCP annual reviews alongside parents/carers and external agencies, liaising with college staff to collate information, plan and coordinate the application of exam access arrangements, and providing line management responsibilities. You will collaborate with colleagues across multiple function areas, parents/carers, and external agencies to foster an inclusive learning environment where every student can achieve their full potential.

Key Expectations
As a busy, impactful and growing department within Kidderminster College, the successful candidate will need to be pro‑active and adaptable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to inclusive education. You will have Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent and be able to work flexibly, including occasional evening work such as open evenings, and support at our other local college sites.
