Role: Distribution Centre Manager
Location: Royal Tunbridge Wells
Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri (Note: the role is responsible for 24/7 operation, so ideally would suit someone able to be flexible where needed, but predominately Mon – Fri role)
Salary: £45,000-£55,000

In this role, you will have full ownership of the existing fulfilment and distribution depot, leading a team of three section managers, day/night supervisors, and warehouse operatives. You will be responsible for team building, restructuring and driving continuous process improvement.

What you'll be doing:
* Accountable for the successful leadership and operational effectiveness of the entire distribution centre, responsible for delivering customer excellence, ensuring safety and building a culture of continuous improvement
* Lead, develop and mentor a diverse, high performing and enthusiastic team
* Scope and Identify improvement initiatives within the team and operation, leading projects across the warehouse, goods-in, inventory control and dispatch sections.
* Continuously review operational performance and procedures, across service, cost, people and process
What we are looking for:
* A passionate, adaptable individual keen to support a high-growth organisation
* Mandatory 3+ years of managerial experience within a fast-paced D2C e-commerce/warehouse/fulfilment environment.
* A solution-oriented individual with the ability to adapt to different situations and loves problem-solving!
* Flexible and adaptable, able to handle multiple priorities
* An appetite for success and someone who is enthusiastic about developing themselves.
