We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Solihull on behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs.?
Purpose of the Role:
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting high-reliability electronics production, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and ongoing compliance with quality standards. This role is focused on maintaining and improving production performance by solving process issues, updating documentation, and supporting critical audits such as NADCAP.
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for:
Providing hands-on production support; resolving technical issues, supporting operators, and programming/maintaining production equipment
Creating and updating manufacturing documentation; including process plans, work instructions, and inspection criteria
Driving process improvements and ensuring repeatability and compliance in manufacturing operations
Supporting quality and compliance activities; preparing documentation and evidence for internal and external audits, including NADCAP
What we require from the Manufacturing Engineer:
Good knowledge of aerospace manufacturing validation processes.
Electronics manufacturing experience.
Audit experience, preferably NADCAP.
Experience authoring technical instructions, operations sequences/process plans (or equivalent).
Competent user of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word).
Solumina / SAP knowledge (desired but not mandatory).
