Your responsibilities include managing the kitchen team to prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals that cater to cultural preferences and dietary needs. You will oversee food stock management, optimize budgets, and liaise with support teams to ensure nutrition standards are met, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.
We are seeking a Head Chef with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, and knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Beyond qualifications, we value your positive energy, ability to connect with people, organizational skills, and precision in following recipes. When communicating with Residents or colleagues, kindness and consideration are essential.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All staff must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
