Job Description
The Finance Business Partner will:
* Assist Commercial teams with reporting, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives.
* Analyse and challenge reported contract results from a financial standpoint to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Evaluate contract structures with a focus on IFRS 15 considerations.
* Identify and assess the accounting and tax impacts of contracts, ensuring proper setup and financial control.
* Monitor costs, including central recharges, and identify areas for savings and efficiencies.
* Implement processes to achieve identified savings.
* Perform impact assessments for changes in tax legislation.
* Develop processes to minimise impacts while ensuring compliance.
* Provide support for external audit exercises to ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting.
* Support commercial teams in developing improvements in cash flow.
* Perform and review bank reconciliations to ensure compliance.
* Support with the implementation of an ERP system.
* Contribute to the development of management information systems to enhance decision-making processes.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Business Partner will be:
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
* Inquisitive and self-motivated
* Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and tax legislation
* Experience in ERP system implementation
* Proficient in numerical skills and possessing strong analytical capabilities
* Keen to progress up through the organisation
* Interpersonal skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all level
