About The Role
Please note that this is a full-time position working day shifts, 38.5 hours per week from 8am to 8pm. Full flexibility is required.
As a Care Assistant at HC-One, you will value kindness above all. Our care homes provide Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and we aim to give back to them through compassionate care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Whether providing long-term, short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus is on delivering the highest quality service.
Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of residents. This includes assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
You will deliver care with heart, ensuring residents retain their dignity and individuality. Your involvement in activities may include helping those with limited mobility, offering emotional support, or end-of-life care, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training as needed.
