Role: Billable Works Project Manager
Location: Midlands-based, covering multiple sites across the Midlands (mobile role)
Salary: £55,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + Benefits
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality building and maintenance projects? We’re looking for a skilled professional to manage the full lifecycle of Billable Works projects across the South and Southwest of England—from concept through to completion.
The Role
As Billable Works Project Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple projects, overseeing everything from design and pricing to delivery and handover. You’ll ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, on time, and to high standards—while complying with all relevant legislation and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of Billable Works projects
Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Oversee and support supply chain performance, ensuring appropriate labour is deployed effectively
Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Engage regularly with stakeholders (including local RFCA reps, site managers, and customer service teams)
Monitor project progress using systems like Maximo and ensure accurate documentation
Provide technical solutions to meet end-user requirements and resolve issues
Support carbon reduction and value-for-money initiatives
Manage project risk, budgeting, and stakeholder expectations effectivelyAbout You
You’ll bring a combination of technical competence, independent decision-making, and strong leadership. A consultative, problem-solving mindset is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large geographical area.
What You’ll Need:
HND in Building, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering—or equivalent experience
Management-level Health & Safety qualification (e.g. SMSTS)
Proven experience managing contractors and delivering construction or maintenance projects
Knowledge of contract risk management, cost control, and stakeholder engagement
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Full UK driving licence
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the South/SouthwestWhat’s on Offer:
