Bodyshop / Smart Repair Technician Hayes, UB3 £41,954 pa overtime bonus. OTE £54,000 pa Mon - Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm 1-in-3 Saturdays 8:30am to 12:30pm Renault Hayes is looking for a Vehicle Smart Repairer to join our dealership’s workshop. Our Smart Repairer role involves carrying out cosmetic repairs on motor vehicles to the highest standards whilst maintaining skilful and accurate first-time fix es, within set repair/paint times and to the customers’ complete satisfaction. Common services that you will be providing to customer vehicles include scratch, chip and scuff repair, paintless dent removal and alloy wheel refurbishment. You will also need to be able to identify additional faults in order to recommend for further repair according to guidelines set by the dealership and manufacturer factory standards. Candidates should have a bodyshop or smart repair qualification, have their own hand tools and protective footwear as well as hold a full UK Driver’s license. Paint booth, drying oven, machinery such as wheel lathe, paint stock, consumables and PPE will be provided. Candidates with Diamond Cut Alloy machine experience will have an advantage, but full training can be provided in this area for any candidate with recent relevant bodyshop / Smart repair / Rapide experience. The hours for this job are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with 30-minute lunch break, plus 1-in-3 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm. In return we offer a £40,000 pa basic salary plus £1,954 pa for the Saturday overtime. We also have a consistent monthly bonus scheme that enables further earnings between £500 and £730 per month. OTE circa £54,000 pa.
