About the Role
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in a welcoming primary/secondary school in Thurrock. This rewarding role involves working closely with an individual student to help them access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s specific learning and emotional needs
2. Assist with the delivery of lessons and adapt materials where necessary
3. Support behaviour management strategies in line with the school’s policies
4. Encourage independence, social interaction, and engagement in learning
5. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
6. Monitor and record the pupil’s progress
